Fun with collage

Today’s workshop was exploring collage and we had a blast using frottage to create many wonderful textures in charcoal. Then out came the paints to create multiple collage papers. The final stage was to explore composition with the students considering each element to include in their work.

The results were interesting and the students enjoyed the freedom of the process and being able to freely create and express themselves.
